FLVF finished up another three weeks of “Summer Fun on the Farm” camp on July 25. The kids had a wonderful time, and parents/grandparents were grateful for the unique learning that went on. Children fed our animals, cooked snacks, went on scavenger hunts, decorated picture frames that had their picture with their favorite animal in it, learned how to work with our alpaca wool, made lanyards, balloon baskets, pot holders, and lots of other activities. We also had a great group of Jr. Counselors helping our teachers, all of whom had been campers themselves when younger. The weather was wonderful, not too hot and not too cold, which was surprising for Vallejo in July.

Now we are on to our annual Pasta Feed on August 9 at the Senior Center. We just heard this morning that we are sold out for this fun event! This is our largest fundraising event of the year, and we appreciate all of the support that comes from the community! See you on the 9th!
