Today’s teaching topic at Loma Vista Farm was the propagation of plants. This is a collection of native plant cuttings that includes Globemallow, Penstemon, Coyote Mint, Buckwheat, Sand aster, and Verbena. I love teaching students from pre-k through 8th grade how to propagate native plants. Hands-on teachings are the best type of learning a skill that can be used in life and the kids loved it. The children and plants are both so very special and wonderful.
