Throughout the years, Kaiser Permanente and other organizations have supported Loma Vista Farm’s dedication to teaching children hands-on healthy eating practices. According to Farmer Rita, “Thanks to funding from
Kaiser Permanente, Whole Kids Foundation, Slow Food Solano, and student support from Touro University, 352 students from Loma Vista Environmental Science Academy participated in cooking, gardening, and environmental science activities twice per month during the preceding school year.”
