It always catches us by surprise how many Vallejoans have not heard about Loma Vista Farm or have forgotten about its existence. Loma Vista Farm is a 5-acre outdoor classroom that provides hands-on educational activities involving plants and animals for children of all ages and abilities. We seek to increase students’ knowledge of nature and nutrition while enhancing academic learning, Eco literacy, and psychosocial development. The farm is open to visitors daily from 9AM to 2:30PM, except on holidays.
It is a perfect place to enjoy nature, relax, meet the animals, or just bring a sandwich on your lunch break from work. LV has several events throughout the year to bring your kids to for their enjoyment. Feel free to browse our website for information and/or upcoming events. The website has 2 sections, one devoted to the farm, the other dedication to The Friends of Loma Vista Farm which is the fundraising arm for the farm.
