Loma Vista Farm

Loma Vista Farm has four sheep: Princess, Lucy, Stella, and Luna

Meet Princess
Princess the sheep
Princess is a female Hampshire mix sheep
born 2/15/13
Princess is the dominant sheep in charge of the herd. Princess is known for pushing you along when it’s feeding time, and she loves to have her head scratched. Princess was a blue ribbon sheep during her State Fair days.
Meet Lucy
Lucy the sheep at Loma Vista Farm, Vallejo
Lucy is a female Barbados sheep
born May 16, 2016
She is one of twins and was very tiny when born with an arch in her back. Likely the position in her mother’s womb prevented her from fully developing as her twin brother did. The arch in her back prevented her from standing, so she was unable to nurse, and her mother had no choice but to accept her twin brother while rejecting Lucy. A mother sheep accepting one of a set of twins but not the other is not that uncommon. Lucy was born somewhat prematurely with a twin brother 2 to 3 times her size. Without human intervention, she would not have survived.
Meet Luna and Stella Luna and Stella at Loma Vista Farm, Vallejo Luna is a female, Hampshire mix sheep
born 2/3/20
Stella is a female Hampshire mix sheep
born 1/20/21
