From an anonymous donor:

“We chose to donate because Friends of Loma Vista Farm (FLVF) is a hands-on educational farm that helps kids see the practical uses of math and science. Also, because through FLVF, kids gain knowledge of nature and nutrition, eco-literacy, and facilitates psychosocial development. We need to remember to interact with nature just as much as we do technology and FLVF allows kids to do just that.”

Upcoming Volunteer Days

Reaching out for Volunteers…Christmas Sale!

The excitement of the holiday season is buzzing at the Farm and we are in need of volunteers to help with the upcoming 2024 Christmas Tree Sales event that begins the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 29th, and ends Sunday, December 22nd

Please consider dedicating some of your personal time and help us make this another wonderful and fun event.  Our Christmas tree sales event is our last and hopefully our largest fundraiser of the year.

Please review the attached sign-up sheet for dates and shifts, and if you can help, please get in touch with me schoyceflvf@aol.com or 707-656-6027 with any questions – or to inform me that you will be joining us to help with Christmas tree sales.   Of course, surprising us by just showing up would be great too!
