Mission Statement
Loma Vista Farm is a 5-acre outdoor classroom that provides hands-on educational activities involving plants and animals for children of all ages and abilities. We seek to increase students’ knowledge of nature and nutrition while enhancing academic learning, ecoliteracy, and psychosocial development.

The Farm offers field trips, after-school opportunities through 4-H, community service and volunteer opportunities, garden-based workshops for adults, and job training for college students, developmentally disabled young adults, and disadvantaged youth.

Loma Vista Farm is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. during the school year. It is closed on holidays and follows the Vallejo School District calendar. The Farm is open occasionally during school breaks, Saturdays, and summer hours. Call for more information.

Friends of Loma Vista Farm, a nonprofit, 501c3 entity helps support the educational opportunities offered on the Farm, provides for the upkeep of the animals and maintains the Farm’s structures.

Christmas Tree Sale ends for 2014

Nordmann FirThe 2014 Christmas Tree Sale is over. We would like to thank all of the families who bought trees at this year’s Loma Vista Farm Christmas tree fundraiser. We hope you had a great time enjoying the Farm and finding your perfect tree for the holidays.

As 2014 comes to an end, the Friends of Loma Vista Farm thank you for  supporting the Farm again, this year. The Farm continues to be an important part of our community because of you and our wonderful volunteers.  As always, it is the children who visit the Farm and the animals that live there who benefit from your generosity.
