Lucy, a Vietnamese Pot Belly Pig, was rescued by the Another Chance Animal Welfare League in the Redding, Calif. area. Lucy is the largest of our Pot Belly Pigs. She’s about 12 years old. Lucy arrived at Loma Vista Farm on May 11, 2007. After she adjusted to her home and the Farm routine, we discovered a lot about Lucy’s unique personality. She loves the attention from the visiting children. She’s very smart and can sit on command. Lucy loves belly rubs! And her favorite food is watermelon. She can’t eat enough of them. Lucy is a show-off with her pig personality!
Bonnie and Clyde are Vietnamese Pot Belly Pigs that were rescued by Another Chance Animal Welfare League in the Redding, California area. Both Bonnie and Clyde are about 10 years old, and like Lucy, arrived at Loma Vista Farm on May 11, 2007. Both Bonnie and Clyde have adjusted well to Loma Vista Farm and their Farm routine. The y love the attention from the visiting children. They are also very smart-both can sit on command.
We enjoy listening to Bonnie squeak when she’s happy, a surprise to Farm staff that Bonnie started only weeks after settling into her new home.
Another surprise has come from Clyde. He jumps up and sits on his back legs for treats! Clyde’s favorite treats are Blue Dog Bakery peanut butter and molasses Natural Low-Fat Dog Treats.
Bonnie and Clyde behave like typical pigs, starting to dig holes in the ground and lying in the dirt while catching some great sun. Yes, Bonnie and Clyde spend a lot of time basking in the sun with smiles on their faces.
Bonnie is the friendliest pig on the farm.
