    Hi Rita,

I don’t see any fun on the farm info for the summer. Are you guys still hosting these farm work and learn weeks? My older children participated many years ago. Thanks!

Plans are underway for another great summer camp experience for the kids. We’ll have the summer camp coordinator contact you.

    Hello Rita,
I am asking permission to use your photo of bumble bees nesting in ground that was used in Kathy Keatley Garvey’s blog, found here at: ucanr.edu/blogs/blogcore/postdetail.cfm?postnum=17749

I am a volunteer master naturalist for City of Bellevue, WA Department of Parks and Community Services. i am putting together a slide show about local bumble bees. We are encouraging protection of bumble bees and planting native plants that attract them. The slide show will be shown at a Bellevue park visitors center, to families (free, no charge) on April 1st, May 12 and June 24th. Let me know if I can use your photo, giving you credit.

Thanks for the work you do!

Hi I would like to ask Farmer Rita two questions. This is Heather Morelli from Cave Language Academy. I am working on what starts would be good for Spring planting and when we should plant.

I also wanted to see what herbs you think we could plant in the school beds when we have some shade and some sun. I was hoping for Lavendar, Rosemary, and Sage.

Please let me know what you think. Thank you so much we are thinking of doing a work day on January 28.
